Teaching Yoga for Refugee and Disadvantaged Women
I have been working in partnership with Women of Hope in Birmingham for quite some time, especially giving disadvantaged women the opportunity to learn and practice their craft skills. Helping the Homeless in Birmingham
Mainly through our Birmingham Women’s Peace Group, I have been collecting items of clothing, toiletries and dried food to help the homeless in Birmingham in recent years. These items are distributed through 4 churches : St Martin in the Bullring, Agape Church, St Michael and St John, and St Basil’s Edmunds Court. On January 9 th , I took quite a number of items to Edmunds Court, where 48 young women are given accommodation for several months, and helped to integrate back into
