One Day Peace Seminar

On Saturday October 12th 2024, we had a WFWP/ UPF Principles of Peace one day

seminar, with 3 wonderful presentations by Dr David Hanna, about our journey

towards a world of peace.

Around 150 people attended throughout the day, including a lot of women from our

Birmingham Peace Group, and from all races, cultures and faiths.

There was time for sharing from some civic and religious leaders, followed by a lot of

lively discussion, and then we enjoyed a nice lunch together. At this troubled time, all

of us could get some inspiration to continue our efforts to make a better world.

A collection was made for the WFWP project to help children in Gaza, and we

received a lot of generous donations.

Thank you for all of you who attended and for all who provided support in different

ways, particularly David Rennie with excellent technical support, making the day

such a wonderful experience!
