ARTISTS FOR PEACE - art contest for children

Updated: Jun 14

The Women's Federation for World Peace is running a third art contest for children throughout the United Kingdom entitled 'My Dream' commemorating the International Day of Women, which takes place on 8 March; entries are open until 31 August 2023.

According to the organisers, the aim is to honour and recognize the importance of children's art in our national society, to promote the use of art as a medium for self-expression and self-healing and to encourage children to explore what they dream about through using their creativity.

With three age categories ranging from 5 to 16 years, any art medium except digital is acceptable and there will be three prizes per age group: £100 for 1st prize, £70 for 2nd prize and £40 for 3rd prize.

On 23 September 2023 the online award ceremony will take place where the results will be announced, and the awards presented.
