Are you a young artist who loves to draw, paint, or create art? Do you have a special person who inspires you to be your best self? If you answered yes, we have an incredible opportunity waiting for you!
The Women's Federation for World Peace UK is thrilled to announce the 4th year of an art contest for children throughout the United Kingdom with the theme 'My Role Model'. This is your chance to express your admiration and gratitude for the individual or character who positively impacts your life and the world around you.
The primary goal of this initiative is to promote family oriented activities across the UK, encouraging children to explore creative solutions that engage positivity and sustainability. Through the powerful medium of art, we aim to spread messages of peace and wellbeing among youth and the broader community.
In honour of the International Day of Women observed on 8 March, submissions for the contest will be accepted from 8 March to 31 August 2024.
The art contest is open to children aged 5 to 15, and participants may utilize any traditional art medium excluding digital art.
Exciting prizes await the winners of each age group: £100 for 1st place, £70 for 2nd place, and £40 for 3rd place. The winners will be revealed and celebrated during an online ceremony scheduled for 21 September 2024 marking the UN day of Peace.
