The Jasmine Room was packed with ladies coming from different parts of the world, all concerned with how to remain safe when out and about. Serving Police Officer of 34 years, Linda Allen, shared not just about how to be safe on the streets. She informed about basic knowledge of the law and how to keep the law on our side, to not show off jewellery outside of the home, to use wisdom and many other points. Most importantly, she advised us to look and walk confidently although we might not feel like it. Only we would know that, not the person out there looking for a target.

The talk was interactive, different scenarios were shared and some even acted out. It was a very informative and memorable morning. We all shared a lovely buffet lunch together and many ladies lingered on for a long time before making their way home.
